The brief

Starts as a classroom.
Ends as a party.

Fist Bootcamp is a four-hour programme in three phases for men who want to learn properly instead of working it out the hard way. 100 recruits, eight instructors. You are taught first, shown second, and then — if you want to — you join in.

Phase one runs sober and runs to a syllabus. Phase two is Max Wide live on the main stage. Phase three is the room. It happens in that order for a reason: nobody gets to the third phase without sitting through the first.

The programme

Three phases.
Four hours.

It starts as a classroom and ends as a party. Each phase has its own rules, and its own rules on filming — read them before you enlist, because we enforce them at the door of each phase.

Phase 01

BASIC TRAINING

90 minutes · Classroom
No filming · Phones in the box

Anatomy, kit and hygiene, communication and consent, preparation and pacing, aftercare and recovery. Taught properly, in the order that matters, by two drill sergeants with models and diagrams.

Phase 02

LIVE FIRE

60 minutes · Main stage
Filming allowed · Camera zone only
Headlining
MAX WIDE
The Objective

Everything taught in Phase 01, executed live by the man the whole tour is built around. Max Wide takes the stage as The Objective, working with a small section of contracted, experienced tops — briefed, consented and rehearsed, because a demonstration is choreographed, not a queue.

Our crew films it properly for the release. Recruits film from the marked camera zone, and whatever you shoot from there is yours to post. Sponsor product is in his hands and on the stage. ROXOFF scores the whole hour.

Phase 03

OPEN GROUND

90 minutes · Practical
No filming · Phones in the box

Recruits join in, supervised, with eight instructors working the floor. Entirely optional — plenty stay and watch, and learn just as much. All phones go back in the box before this phase opens, without exception.

Why the phases have different camera rules

Phase 02 is performed by people who signed up to be filmed. Phases 01 and 03 are full of people who did not. That line is the whole reason this format is trusted — and anyone filming outside the camera zone is removed and not refunded.

The headliner

Max Wide.
The Objective.

Every deployment on the tour is built around one man on one stage for one hour. He is the reason the room sells out, the reason the film is worth shooting, and the reason sponsors want their product in Phase 02.

Headline performer · All deployments
  • Live Fire, every session. Sixty minutes on the main stage, working with a contracted section of experienced tops.
  • The film. Every deployment is shot professionally around him and scored by ROXOFF. The release is the asset the whole tour produces.
  • Sponsor product on stage. Phase 02 sponsors have their product in his hands, in the film, and in every clip a recruit posts from the camera zone.
  • He does not teach. The drill sergeants run Phases 01 and 03. Max Wide performs. Keeping those roles separate is what keeps the classroom a classroom.

Rules of engagement

Six rules.
No exceptions.

Break one and you are out of the room. We will not argue about it on the day.

01

18+, ID Checked

Photo ID on the door, every session, no exceptions and no arguments.

02

Sober Session

No drink, no drugs, before or during. Anyone who turns up under the influence is turned away and does not get a refund.

03

Consent Is Constant

Negotiated before, checked throughout, and revocable by anyone at any second without explanation.

04

Cameras: Phase 02 Only

Phones in the box for Phases 01 and 03. In Phase 02 you may film from the marked camera zone only. Film outside it and you are out, with no refund.

05

Wristbands Are Law

An orange band means do not film me — ever, anywhere, including Phase 02. If there is an orange band in your shot, do not take the shot.

06

The DI Has The Call

If an instructor stops something, it stops. You can ask why afterwards. You do not debate it in the room.

A word on risk

This carries real physical risk, and pretending otherwise is how people get hurt. We teach the safety material first for that reason. Nothing taught here is medical advice — if something is wrong afterwards, see a doctor, and do not wait because you are embarrassed. They have seen it before.
